DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACEUTICS
This department is designed to attract the students who are well talented to find suitable placement in the leading pharmaceutical industries across the country. They are also absorbed by quality control wing of leading pharmaceutical companies. The program in the Pharmaceutics Department enables the deserving students to have an industrial exposure.

PHARMACEUTICS RESEARCH FACILITY (P.G)

For the Postgraduate students of Pharmaceutics are provided with very advanced research facility which is equipped with elctrolab USP dissolution, disintegration apparatus, and rotary flash evaporator, cadmach tablet machine, capsule filling machine, kalweka all purpose machine, tablet coating machine and parentral filling and sealing machine. With this provisions our postgraduate research students are undergoing research work in the area of drugs and cosmetics, Bio-pharmaceutics and dosage form designs using latest techniques like nanoparticles, neosomes, micro spheres liposome and resealed erythrocytes.
 
BIOTECHNOLOGY RESEARCH FACILITY(P.G)

The research facility is established with Modern and novel equipments like gel-documentation system for gene sequencing, PCR, ELISA reader, cooling centrifuge, incubators and auto-analyzer.

DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY

This area currently covers the application of the fundamental chemistry related to pharmaceutical industries. The students are trained to augment their fundamental knowledge related to synthesis and analysis of drugs in pharmaceuticals. The students are imparted with a sound skill to handle variety of modern equipments to meet the current requirement faced by ever growing pharma industries.  

Our Mission is planned to start the postgraduate curriculum in pharmaceutical chemistry in the upcoming years.

PHARMACEUTICAL ANALYSIS RESEARCH FACILITIES (P.G)

The College has postgraduate analysis research facilities with a sophisticated instruments such as HPLC (Shimadzu), FTIR (Shimadzu) and UV Spectrophotometer (Double Beam), KF titrator (Auto), conductivity meter, etc.,

DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOGNOSY

This Department deals with identification and collection of crude drugs obtained from both animal and plant origin. Nowadays, drugs derived from herba l sources assume significant importance in healing the disease of individuals. These natural drugs are free from side effects. Here students are well exposed to identify and develop such drugs which are greatly sought by the individuals who prefer the traditional system of medicine like Siddha, Ayurveda and Unani.

DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOLOGY

Well equipped laboratory will help to train the students in practical studies of Anatomy, Physiology and Health Education, Pharmacology and Chemotherapy, bio-assay of various drugs etc.

PHARMACOLOGY RESEARCH FACILITY

Our Pharmacology Research laboratory has the provision to do research on animals with prior approval from Animal Ethics Committee (CPCSEA) and  it emphasize research on analgesics, inflammation, carcinogenesis, convulsions , muscle relaxant and loco motor activity ,etc.,

The faculty consists of sufficient number of dedicated and devoted efficient teaching professional with high academic caliber and specialization in the relevant subjects.

Our faculty members and postgraduate students are involved various research work in formulation development, analytical method development, natural product studies, vaccine delivery systems and isolation biomarkers and they published their research work in reputes research journals like Elsevier groups, IJPS, Biological and Pharmaceutical Bulletin,  AAPS journals and natural product research.
